INTRAVENOUS CBD THERAPY

Pico IV® is a sterile, purified, intravenous version of Cannabidiol (commonly referred to as CBD), a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. Pico IV allows CBD to be nearly 100% absorbed and available to your cells.  It is made from hemp grown in the United States and is legal throughout the entire county. It is NOT psychoactive (it does not contain any THC and will not make you feel buzzed or high) and is non-addictive.  CBD IV therapy offers many potential benefits such as:

Intravenous CBD is infused intravenously in our office. CBD is generally well-tolerated, and serious side effects are rare. In higher doses, some individuals may experience mild side effects such as flu-like symptoms, drowsiness, dry mouth, changes in appetite, or gastrointestinal discomfort. These side effects are typically transient and self-limiting, often subsiding as the body adapts to the presence of CBD.

NAD+

NAD+, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is an essential coenzyme in regulating metabolism, longevity, DNA repair, and the immune system. The natural decline in NAD+ levels as we age is associated with signs of aging, metabolic diseases, neurodegeneration, and cancer. NAD+ supplementation has been associated with decreased signs of physical aging, improved cognition, a reduction in systemic inflammation, enhanced exercise performance, and increased sleep quality.

NAD+ and Anti-Aging: NAD+ supplementation has been identified as a key therapeutic target that can positively impact many of the hallmarks of cellular aging. Not only does it play a key role in skin aging but also demonstrates a great potential to improve multiple aspects of age-related decline across the whole body.

NAD+ and neurodegeneration: As we age, cognition and neurologic function decline due to cellular damage and declining energy metabolism. NAD+ therapy in delivered via an intravenous infusion in our office. To avoid side effects, the supplement is infused slowly, taking 2-4 hours depending on the patient’s tolerance. Some people indicate that they experience a temporary feeling or nausea, stomach discomfort or flushing for a short period of time during the infusion. This subsides quickly, and there are no other issues in the days or weeks following the treatment.

High-dose vitamin C therapy is infused intravenously in our office. To avoid side effects, the infusion is done slowly, usually taking 30-90 minutes depending on the patient’s tolerance. The primary side effect is nausea. This resolves quickly when the infusion has completed.
